LegalZoom Named as Primary Sponsor
Due to demand, Inventors Digest has extended the deadline for the 2010 Collegiate Alt-Energy Challenge.
The Challenge deadline is now Aug. 31 – running throughout National Inventors Month – giving U.S. college students and teams more time to hone and submit their 2-minute Web videos.
Inventors Digest also is proud to name LegalZoom as the primary sponsor of the Challenge. LegalZoom is the nation’s leading online legal document service, offering patent, copyright and trademark filing services, as well as business-formation and will and trust forms.
About the Challenge
Only U.S. colleges and college-bound students are eligible for this contest and age restrictions apply.
The Challenge will award $2,000 for the most innovative low-cost, alternative energy-related solutions, products or technologies.
Students are invited to submit videos – 2-minute “elevator pitches” – through our Web 2.0 platform at EdisonNation.com, ensuring IP protection and preserving potential licensing opportunities.
A quarter of the world’s population lives without any form of electricity. Lack of access to electricity or power contributes to poverty, malnutrition, disease and death. It’s a vicious cycle, and one that can be alleviated through innovation and creative use of low-cost technology.
