HIA_imageThe Houston Inventors Association and the University of Houston Small Business Development Center is hosting  the Fourth Annual Inventors Tradeshow, Wednesday Aug. 11, from  5- 8:30 p.m.

The public is invited to this free event to meet inventors, companies and others from the inventing industry, who will help inventors solve problems and offer business advice.

The show is at the Bayland Park Community Center Building, 6400 Bissonnet (Inside Bayland Park – one block west of Hillcroft).

There will be about 75 display tables (set-up begins at 4:30 p.m). Tables need to be reserved in advance and a table number assigned to each participant.

A few of the display tables will be reserved for the winners of the Children’s Museum Young Inventors Showcase – Inventors of Tomorrow. We will have a separate room for speakers from the various organizations to present  information and to tell attendees and inventors how their organization can help them.

Note: Remember that this is a public showing. If your invention is not patented or patent pending, you have one year from the first public disclosure to apply for a patent or you may lose your rights to get a patent.
