Become a student ambassador for the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance.

The NCIIA’s Student Ambassadors Program is a network of students who develop and deliver local events for university entrepreneurs, encouraging them to become involved in NCIIA programs and activities, and supporting them to create inventions and innovations that have a social benefit.

The NCIIA is looking for go-getter students on key NCIIA-member campuses to form its 2011-12 team. Its geographic areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Bay area and southern California
  • Seattle and Pullman, WA
  • Portland, Corvallis and Eugene, OR
  • Salt Lake City, UT
  • Madison, WI
  • Chicago, IL
  • Austin, Houston and Dallas, TX
  • Boston and Cambridge, MA
  • New York, NY
  • Research Triangle Park region, NC
  • Florida
  • Georgia

Students gain valuable experience in marketing, program planning, networking and managing projects, and be recognized as experts on what’s happening entrepreneurship-wise on campus.

They’ll be trained, receive a stipend, have goals to meet and be rewarded at the end of their one-year “term” if they fulfill the objectives.
