-Sustainable, affordable energy from scientific, ecological and innovation points of view will be speakers including Carter Bales, co-author of “Containing Climate Change;” Eisenhower Institute Chairman Emeritus Susan Eisenhower; and X PRIZE Founder Peter Diamandis.

-Threats to the aquatic environment. Included are Dr. Sylvia Earle, National Geographic Society explorer-in-residence who was awarded the TED Prize in 2009; Keith Bellows, editor in chief of National Geographic Traveler; and Dave Gallo, Ph.D., director of special projects for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

-Global economics. Speakers will focus on innovative solutions for maintaining this country’s leadership in a global marketplace. U.S. Comptroller General and CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation David Walker and economic historian, Harvard professor and author Niall Ferguson will fill out this segment.

-Education: Speakers include inventor and thought leader Dean Kamen; Sony Pictures Senior VP of Marketing Don Levy; National Math and Science Initiative CEO Tom Luce; and One Laptop per Child Foundation founder Nicholas Negroponte.

-Healthcare. Dr. Dean Ornish, author and CEO of the Preventive Medicine Center; Dr. David Katz, founder of the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center; and Ken Dychtwald, founding president of Age Wave, are among those who will address health issues.
