This year’s Inventors Conference’09: A Climate of Opportunity, is the only one of it’s kind in Kentucky.  It will be held on Tuesday evening, October 13th from 6-9pm at the Central Lexington Public Library.  The conference will feature the secrets of how to use tools that are all around us to go from just an idea to a marketable invention.  This event will be free and open to the public.

This is the perfect opportunity to see some of Kentucky’s most interesting and amazing inventions, plus a chance to network and learn from other successful inventors and entrepreneurs.

This event gives you the rare opportunity to find out what other creative minds from all over KY have developed.  You can also attend our helpful educational presentations for FREE.  Inventor and business insiders will be speaking on topics that inventors need to know to go forward with their invention and/or business.

Here’s just some of what will be featured at this year’s Inventors Conference:

Louis J. Foreman will be speaking.  He is the publisher of Inventors Digest magazine, producer of the PBS show Everyday Edisons and author of The Independent Inventor’s Handbook.

Hear presentations from the Central KY Inventors Council, the Small Business Development Center and the Central Public Library on local resources available for inventors and entrepreneurs.

Exhibits from both Inventors and Business-Service Businesses – will be featured in a special part of the conference.

You will hear from both seasoned inventors and providers of services that help inventors move from the idea stage to a business or invention that can make money.  Contributors will include the Central Kentucky Inventors Council, Lexington Public Library, Bluegrass Business Development Partnership, and many others.

“This conference shows you not only how to become a successful inventor, but how it is being done every day right here in Kentucky” said Don Skaggs, Vice-President of the CKIC. For more information contact the CKIC at 859.201.1311.
