The state of Georgia is organizing a model ecosystem to attract and retain investment in IP-rich firms and assets, under the guidance of the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance. That drive is expanding to the United States Intellectual Property Alliance™ and the Global Intellectual Property Alliance™.
GIPA brings together community and lay-leaders to discuss and promote IP-rich results from the key legs of the IP stool: Technology, Life Sciences and Arts/Entertainment/Sports. It comprises ecosystem partner leaders, business executives, IP attorneys, tech transfer professionals, inventor entrepreneurs, expert consultants, IP brokers and many more types of volunteers.
GIPA participants collaborate with global leaders while harnessing Georgia’s intellectual, physical and economic benefits. This helps society more easily accomplish creative, inventive, licensing, commercialization & monetization goals.
The U.S. Intellectual Property Alliance is a new organization, built from GIPA partnering and support, with a mission to bring together national organizations and ecosystem constituents for the betterment of intellectual property in the United States. The U.S. Intellectual Property Alliance seeks to provide American creators, consumers, legal professionals, and businesses with: information; educational programming and services; and business connections – in order to maximize American IP investments and foster a collaborative nationwide IP ecosystem.
The Global Intellectual Property Alliance is also a new organization. It is built from GIPA partnering and support, with the mission to bring together countries around the world and ecosystem constituents for the betterment of intellectual property everywhere. The Global Intellectual Property Alliance provides collaborative opportunities and educational resources, including seminars, roundtables, and speakers, to foster the growth of the global IP community.
